Can You Use Super Bonder and a Nano Mister

Most of us OGs were taught to use a nano mister at the end of a lash service to help cure the adhesive, but a lot has changed over the years. Now that Superbonder has hit the industry, you might be wondering - can you use Superbonder and a nano mister together? Spoiler alert: Heck yeah, you can! Let’s dive in:

What's Superbonder?

Superbonder is the mother of all lash sealants. We apply it at the end of every lash appointment, about 2-3 minutes after applying the last lash or fan. You can use Superbonder on every type of lash set—classic, hybrid, or volume lash extensions, for both full sets and fills! Superbonder locks in fumes and adds flexibility to the adhesive bond for up to +30% retention! Remember when we used to tell your clients they couldn't get their lashes wet after their service? Not anymore! Now, your client is safe to get their lashes wet after 3-5 minutes post-appointment!

To Apply Superbonder:

• Wait 2-3 minutes after applying the last lash or fan.
• Use 1-2 drops on a microstick.
• Swipe onto the bonding points at the bases of the extensions.
• Wait another 2-3 minutes for it to dry (use an eyelash fan).

What is a Nano Mister?

Nano Mister finishes the curing process safely by creating an ultra-fine mist of distilled water (H2O). This mist provides just enough moisture to cure the adhesive without causing "blooming." It also helps reduce and lock in glue fumes, and minimizes any stinging before the client opens their eyes. Perfect for clients with low humidity in their lash rooms, it gives a refreshing boost post-service.

To Use a Nano Mister:

• Wait 2-3 minutes after completing the lash set (use an eyelash fan during this time).
• Hold the Nano Mister about 30 cm from the client's face to avoid soaking.
• If your Nano Mister has a cover, slide it down to release the mist.
• Move the Nano Mister slowly across both eyes to evenly coat them.
• 30 seconds of misting is sufficient—no need for more time!

Can I Use a Nano and Superbonder Together?

We get this question a lot. Yes, you can use both Superbonder and a Nano Mister post-service. Superbonder adds adhesive flexibility and helps it bond securely to the natural lash, but it lacks the soothing, cooling effect that clients love about a Nano Mister. Many clients enjoy the refreshing sensation of a nano mist after a lash appointment, which helps relax their eyes and reduce any potential stinging. For optimal results, we recommend applying Superbonder first, using an eyelash fan to dry, waiting 2 minutes, and then finishing off with the Nano Mister.
