Are they mink or silk lashes?

The material used to make Butter & Black is high quality Korean PBT. You’re probably thinking “Yeah Yeah, aren’t they all Korean PBT? “ and the answer is Yes, most of them are. But here’s where ours are different - We’ve created the PBT to be a Blend between Silk and Mink, instead of choosing one over the other! With this material we have been able to take the best of both worlds and produce one flawless product.   (Example: The softness of mink but the darkness of silk!)

Think of how much easier your inventory will be to manage ONLY STOCKING ONE material of lashes!

Are these cruelty free?

Yes! Lash Line LOVES animals and refuses to purchase products that are tested on animals. Our lash extensions are made using a synthetic fiber to mimic the feel of mink hair, but it is in no way linked to an animal for ethical and health purposes. 

What diameter / thickness is best for classic lashing?

This is dependant on the clients natural lashes. Typically we recommend 0.12's for most classic applications. However, this reference guide can help you know which to choose:

0.10 - brittle or fragile natural lashes

0.12 - great for all lashes

0.15 - Ideal for thick and healthy natural lashes

0.18 - Not to be used on inner corners. Ideal for very thick and coarse natural lashes

What diameter / thickness is best for hybrid lashing?

This is dependant on the clients natural lashes. Typically we recommend 0.07 for most volume applications. However, this reference guide can help you know which to choose

0.05 - brittle or fragile natural lashes or a full and dark volume set (4D-7D)

0.06 - Great for all lashes (3D-6D)

0.07 - Great for thick and healthy natural lashes (2-4D)

What diameter / thickness is best for volume / mega lashing?

This is dependant on the clients natural lashes. Typically we recommend 0.03 for most mega volume applications. However, this reference guide can help you know which to choose

0.03 - Extremely thin and flexible for full mega volume (9D+)

0.05 - Great for all lashes (4D-9D)

What is Korean PBT?

All of our lashes are made from the highest quality Korean PBT. PBT (polybutylene terephthalate), is a synthetic thermoplastic. Our lashes are synthetic and cruelty free! 

Do these lashes lose their curl?

While it’s normal for the lashes to “relax” a tad after weeks of wear, they should never fall FLAT. If you think the lash extensions lost their curl, please send us a photo and we will help replace your tray for an alternative; it sounds like a lemon!
