But lash goals? We’re all for that! We’re sharing our top 5 lash goals for 2022. Let’s make this your most successful year yet!
1. Provide Exceptional Customer Service
Have you ever heard the saying “one happy customer will tell 1 person about their experience, but one unhappy customer will tell 10 people”?
We know a thing or two about customer service - (humble brag coming on…) Lash Line was the 2020/2021 NALA winner for the Customer Service Award!
We know you can’t please everyone (that goes without saying) but you do have the power to turn a potential bad outcome into a better one! We’ll save all of our tips for another blog post, but the takeaway is: listen, come up with a solution you are both happy with, and kill them with kindness - it works most of the time! ;)
2. Build that email list
You might think that emailing is outdated. We’re here to tell you - it’s NOT!
If you’re doing business, your customers are using email, and you should be as well. No matter how small your lash business is, you have the power to reach people through email marketing 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This is an incredible opportunity for your extension business to grow without solely relying on social media. I'm sure you've learned that there are very few easy changes to add to a business to immediately see an impact.
Our favourite platform for small business email marketing is MailerLite. It's a user-friendly platform that makes email marketing as straightforward as possible.
If you use online booking, ensure it captures their email addresses. If it does, you can export your customers' emails into MailerLite to start emailing. So simple!
3. Advertise Your Business
You are an artist! Utilize the two biggest platforms for showing off your lash work - Instagram and TikTok. If you’re all about socials you’ll know that video content does great! You can even boost your posts and target specific audiences for your work!
4. Take Great Before + After Photos
Have you ever finished a BOMB lash set and then thought f*&%..... I should have taken a before picture (facepalm). Make it your intention this year to take tons of before and after pics. Clients and other artists alike love a great before and after photo. It isn’t called transformation Tuesday for nothing!
It really showcases your talent and skills as an artist and can set you apart from your competition.
5. Add a New Service
How can you increase your profits without raising your prices? Add another service to your menu! Bonus if it's one that you can do simultaneously (your client is already with you for an hour or more, why not pamper them even more)!
Add jelly masks to your regular rotation. You can apply a jelly mask and while it sets you can work on your clients fill or full set. They leave with an amazing glow and fresh lashes - there is nothing better!
